Introducing the ACR40U, ACS's latest compact, high-speed USB contact smart card reader, designed for reliable performance and broad compatibility. It supports ISO 7816 Class A, B, and C smart cards, microprocessor cards using T=0 and T=1 protocols, as well as a wide variety of memory cards available on the market.
The ACR40U is equipped with dual LED indicators that provide clear visual feedback on both reader and card status. It also introduces enhanced features such as firmware upgradability and on-device user data storage, making it adaptable to a wide range of application requirements.
Built to comply with CCID, PC/SC, and Microsoft® WHQL standards, the ACR40U delivers seamless compatibility across multiple operating systems, including Windows®, Linux®, macOS, iOS, iPadOS, and Android™.
To further enhance flexibility and ease of use, the ACR40U is available with both USB Type-A and USB Type-C interface options, enabling convenient connectivity across a wide range of devices.
