ACS ACR40U-AF

The ACR40U is ACS's latest compact, high-speed USB contact smart card reader, designed to support a wide range of smart card applications. It is compatible with ISO 7816 Class A, B, and C smart cards, microprocessor cards using both T=0 and T=1 protocols, and various memory cards available on the market.

The reader includes two LED indicators that display the status of both the card and the device. It also features firmware upgrade capability and onboard user data storage, making it suitable for different deployment and application requirements. The ACR40U complies with CCID, PC/SC, and Microsoft® WHQL standards and supports Windows®, Linux®, macOS, iOS, iPadOS, and Android™ operating systems.

To provide greater flexibility, the ACR40U is available with either a USB Type-A or USB Type-C interface, allowing it to connect easily with a wide range of modern devices.
