The ACS ACR40U is a compact USB contact smart card reader that supports all ISO 7816 microprocessor-based smart cards and many popular memory cards. It features a premium weighted stand for flexible horizontal or vertical positioning and a durable white desktop design. An evolution of the popular ACR39, the ACR40U adds a second LED for enhanced user feedback, on-device user data storage, and remote firmware upgrade support. Its chipset is compatible with Windows, Linux, macOS, iOS, iPadOS, and Android.
