The AIR60U ePassport Reader is a compact identity document reader that integrates OCR, RFID/NFC, contact smart card, and QR code technologies for fast and reliable identity verification. Designed to read ICAO DOC 9303-compliant e-passports and ID cards, it delivers Machine Readable Zone (MRZ) reading in ≤1 second with up to 99.8% accuracy, and e-passport chip reading in ≤3 seconds.
With contactless read/write speeds of up to 848 kbps, contact smart card speeds of up to 1,250 kbps, and a reading distance of up to 70 mm depending on tag type, the AIR60U offers versatile document-reading performance. Its compact design, USB 2.0 connectivity, PC/SC support, and compatibility with Windows and Linux make it suitable for kiosks, e-gates, and desktop identity verification systems.
