The high image quality fingerprint reader is FBI Certified as meeting FIPS 201 (PIV) and Mobile ID FAP 20 requirements.
Designed primarily for FIPS 201 (PIV) applications, SecuGen Hamster Pro Duo SC/PIV is also suitable for any contact smart card application such as physical access control, personal identity verification, and national ID programs where dual factor authentication is needed for higher security without sacrificing convenience.
As with all devices containing SecuGen's advanced U20 sensor, the Hamster Pro Duo SC/PIV features Fake Finger Rejection for enhanced security.
