The ACR40U is a compact, high-speed USB contact smart card reader designed for reliable performance and broad compatibility. Supporting ISO 7816 Class A, B, and C smart cards, microprocessor cards using T=0 and T=1 protocols, and a variety of memory cards, it provides a flexible solution for secure smart card applications.
Built to comply with CCID, PC/SC, and Microsoft® WHQL standards, the ACR40U offers plug-and-play compatibility across major operating systems, including Windows®, Linux®, macOS, iOS, iPadOS, Android™, and Solaris™. Dual LED indicators provide clear visual feedback on reader and card status, while firmware upgradability and on-device user data storage provide additional flexibility for application requirements.
