Description
The AIR60U ePassport Reader is a compact identity document reader that combines OCR, RFID/NFC, contact smart card, and QR code technologies for fast identity verification. It supports ICAO DOC 9303-compliant e-passports and ID cards, with MRZ reading in ≤1 second at up to 99.8% accuracy and e-passport chip reading in ≤3 seconds.
The AIR60U supports contactless read/write speeds up to 848 kbps and contact card speeds up to 1,250 kbps, with a reading distance of up to 70 mm depending on tag type. Its compact design makes it ideal for kiosks, e-gates, and desktop applications. It supports Windows and Linux operating systems.
